IN LOVING MEMORY OF MRS. MABLE CARTER
Mrs. Mable Carter, mother of Mr. Floyd Carter of "Perfect Praise", Recently passed away. She was laid to rest on October 18, 2002 at the Mitchell Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetary. Oh! What a soldier of gospel music! She leaves behind a legacy of outstanding singers of the same genre: Mrs. Sandra Newberry (Noopie), Mr. Floyd Carter, Mrs. Faye Gadsen, Mrs. Veronica Fillingame (Kitty), Ms. Mollie Carter, and Ms. Kadelia Carter.People who knew her well, called her Sis. Carter and one of her favorite songs were "When I've Gone the Last Mile of the Way". She has gone now from labor to reward, but I know that she is now up there with the other gospel soldiers and they are already gearing up for that great day when all of God's singers get home! Oh! what a meeting that will be! Till we meet again, Mable will always be in our hearts!
